Moore faked the ‘Bail Orders’ with an illicit mobile while he was on remand, he posed as a senior court clerk and sent bail instructions to prison staff, the bail instructions was sent from a fake web domain email which closely resembled to that of the original court domain. His act came to light only after three days of his release from the prison when a solicitor who went to interview him found that he was already gone. Prosecutor Ian Paton said: “A lot of criminal ingenuity harbours in the mind of Mr Moore. The case is one of extraordinary criminal inventiveness, deviousness and creativity, all apparently the developed expertise of this defendant”. The judge, Recorder David Hunt QC, described the behaviour as “ingenious” criminality. Moore will be sentenced on 20th April for eight counts of fraud and one count of escape from prison.
