Jeannine Buck of Abbottsford, British Columbia, Canada was clicking pictures from a Cessna airplane above Vancouver’s Stanley Park when the incident occurred last Monday night. Apparently, the smartphone dropped from a height of 2,500 feet from the sky. Alexey “Unwinder” Nicolaychuk, a Russia-based developer who developed the MSI Afterburner software, states that the project is “probably dead” and “semi abandoned”, as MSI has stopped “performing their obligations under the Afterburner license agreement” due to political reasons even though it remained active in the Russian market. The driver of the orange-colored car, Sujan Singh (35) managed to escape unhurt after noticing smoke coming out of the engine.
