Based in the Netherlands, Olivier Beg discovered 20 separate security flaws within United Airlines’ computer systems. As a reward, the airlines offered million United MileagePlus miles — a $25,000 value – for revealing 20 bugs to United’s program, as part of a challenge to help the company fix security flaws on its website. The bug bounty scheme was introduced by the airlines in May 2015 calling it an extension of its commitment to protecting customers’ privacy and the personal data they share with the airline....

The website was defaced with a picture of pm, with abusive words mentioned as “I’m a slutty moron”, “I know that I am the worst Prime Minister ever in Thailand history!!!”. The defacement sign showed that it was defaced by “Unlimited Hack Team”. who was previously able to hack Culture Ministry, TV Channel 3 and some other thai websites too. “Unlimited Hack Team” announced on its Facebook page on Wednesday afternoon that it did not break into the website of the PM’s Office....

Love was first arrested in October 2013 over allegations of hacking into US agencies including NASA, the US army and the Federal Reserve. On Wednesday, UK’s Metropolitan Police Service rearrested Love at his home in Stradishall, Suffolk, this time sporting an extradition warrant issued by the districts of Virginia, New Jersey and New York. According to the indictment (PDF) filed in New Jersey, Love and others hacked into thousands of computers in the US and elsewhere, collecting personal data from 104,000 people along the way....

The suspect was dressed as an Apple employee with a blue shirt and the similar Apple logo on the front. Unsuspected of being a stranger amongst the employees, the thief took the phones right out of a drawer in the store’s repair room. He then passed all the 19 iPhones to his accomplice who reportedly hid the phones under his shirt, and the pair walked out of the store. The Tempe police said in a statement that the self-driving car was in autonomous mode when the vehicle struck 49-year-old Elaine Herzberg while she was walking outside of a crosswalk. Herzberg was taken to a hospital where she later died of her injuries. “The pedestrian was outside of the crosswalk.
