According to NVIDIA, the RTX 3080 Ti is the new flagship gaming GPU of the GeForce RTX family. The RTX 3080 Ti features the GA102-225 graphics chip containing 10240 CUDA Cores, 80 RT cores, 112 ROPs, and 320 Tensor cores. It is clocked at 1,440 MHz base and 1,665 MHz boost and can draw up to 350 watts of power. Further, the RTX 3080 Ti is equipped with 12 GB of GDDR6X VRAM memory on a 384-bit wide bus and aims for a bandwidth of 912GB/s. It uses the 12-pin PCIe power connector, one HDMI 2.1-out, and three DisplayPort 1.4a-outs. According to NVIDIA, the RTX 3080 Ti I said to be a 50% improvement over the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and is capable of delivering 34 Shader TLFOPs, 67 RT TFLOPs, and 273 Tensor TFLOPs. “With RTX such a huge success, gamers and creators will be thrilled with the performance and features the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti offers,” said Jeff Fisher, Senior Vice President of the GeForce business unit at NVIDIA. “As the new flagship to the RTX family, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is the ultimate upgrade for GPU enthusiasts of any generation.” On the other hand, the RTX 3070 Ti is also powered by the popular NVIDIA Ampere architecture graphics card. It based on a full GA104 GPU with 6,144 CUDA cores, 48 Ray Tracing cores, 96 Ops, and 192 Tensor cores. Further, the RTX 3070 Ti has a 1.77 GHz boost frequency, 8 GB of GDDR6X VRAM memory with a 256-bit wide bus, and a much wider bandwidth of 608GB/s. It also has a 290W TDP card. The GeForce RTX 3070 Ti is pegged to deliver a 1.5X higher performance than the RTX 2070 Super and a 2X improvement over the GTX 1070 Ti. It can deliver 22 Shader TFLOPS, 42 RT TFLOPS, and 174 Tensor TFLOPS. Both RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti are powered by NVIDIA Ampere architecture. They support NVIDIA DLSS performance-boosting AI, NVIDIA Reflex latency-reduction, NVIDIA Broadcast streaming features, and additional memory, which is said to increase the performance of the most popular creator applications as well. These cards will also include a hash limit for Ethereum cryptocurrency mining. The GeForce RTX 3080 Ti will be available from June 3rd starting at $1,199, with the RTX 3070 Ti available from June 10th starting at $599. NVIDIA Founders Edition cards for both GPUs will be available from various brands like ASUS, Colorful, EVGA, Gainward, Galax, GIGABYTE, Inno3D, MSI, Palit, PNY, Zotac, and more.
