Micromax has launched the Canvas Spark Q380 for Indian buyers at an event in Gurgaon. Micromax Canvas Spark is a 3G-enabled smartphone and will be exclusively available via Snapdeal via a flash sale method. Registrations for the first flash sale on April 29 open at 12pm IST on Wednesday. The dual-SIM Micromax Canvas Spark runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and has a 4.7-inch qHD IPS display which gives 540×960 pixels resolution, along with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor and will run on 1GB of DDR3 RAM. For creativity, the Canvas Spark has 8MP rear camera with LED flash and an M8 Largan lens and for selfie lovers, Micromax has pitched in a decent 2MP front-facing camera. The Spark has 8GB of built-in storage which can be expanded to 32GB via a microSD card slot. For connectivity, the Micromax Canvas Spark will have Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. The smartphone also features FM radio and support for 21 languages with the Reverie language pack. It weighs 134 grams, and is 8.5mm thick. It is powered by a 2000mAh battery which Micromax claims, can deliver up to 335 hours of standby time. The smartphone comes in two, dual-tone colour options – White-Gold and Grey-Silver. Additionally the new buyers, buying the Spark on 29th April, can sign up for free Vodafone 3G bundle which will give them 500MB free 3G data per month for two months.
