The iPhones that will not get the new software upgrade are iPhone 5s, iPhone SE, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Further, iOS 13 will also drop support for iPad mini 2 and iPad Air. In other words, the iOS devices that would be supported by iOS 13 includes the iPhone 6s and higher models, iPad Air 2 and higher, iPad 5 and higher, and iPad Mini 3 and higher models. If the report turns out to be true, a lot of Apple users using older iOS devices would have to either upgrade their devices or stick to the older operating system (iOS 12). The Cupertino giant has not yet provided any confirmation of the changes to the older iOS devices, so it is suggested to take this information with a pinch of salt. Apple is expected to unveil iOS 13 at its annual WWDC keynote on June 3 with the final release of the operating system likely to happen in September later this year.
